Rev Run Simmons’s real name is Joseph Ward Simmons. He was born on 14th November 1964 in New York City, United States. He is currently 58 years old. His father’s name is Daniel Simmons and his mother’s name is Evelyn Simmons. His siblings’ names were Russell Simmons and Danny Simmons.

He first got married to Valerie Vaughn in the year 1983 but due to some circumstances between them, they both got separated in the year 1992. Later he got married to Justine Jones in the year 1994. He was blessed with 7 children and their names were Angela Simmons, Diggy Simmons, Russell Simmons II, Vanessa Simmons, Mile Justine Simmons, Joseph Simmons Jr, and Victoria Anne Simmons.

Rev Run Simmons Career:-

Rev Run Simmons started his career as a Lead Vocalist in the popular band named The Force. Later he founded the Run DMC band with his friends named Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels and Jason “Jam-Master Jay” Mizell. Most of this band’s album songs including Song 4 Lovers, and Distortion were a tremendous success and he acquired lots of attention and fame.

He also appeared as an actor in many Run-DMC album songs including Run-DMC: Rock Box, Run-D.M.C.: You Talk Too Much, Run-D.M.C.: King of Rock, Run DMC and Aerosmith: Walk This Way, Run-D.M.C.: It’s Tricky, Run-DMC: The Video, Run-D.M.C.: Christmas in Hollis, Run-D.M.C.: Run’s House, Run-DMC: The Ave and Run-DMC: Faces.

Rev Run Simmons then appeared as a lead actor in the movie named Tougher Than Leather, this movie portrays the story of his Hip Hop Band Run-DMC. He then appeared as an actor in some Hollywood movies including whos the Man?, Red Dragon, and  School Girls.

He then appeared as a host and also produced famous Television shows including Daddy’s Girls, Rev Run’s Happy Holidays, Rev Run’s Renovation, Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers, Rev Runs Around the World, and All About The Washingtons.
