Steve Byers Early Life
Steve Byers was born on December 31, 1976, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in a middle-class home and was the youngest of four siblings. Byers developed a passion for acting at a young age and started taking part in community theatre productions and school plays. Byers studied acting at the National Theatre Academy of Canada after completing his high school education. He received an acting degree from the university when he left in 1999.

Steve Byers started performing in the late 1990s after graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada. His breakout role came in 2005 when he was cast as Jason Teague in the hit television series Smallville. He had previously had tiny roles in films and television shows.
Byers went on to make appearances in several television shows after finding popularity in Smallville, including Falcon Beach, The Listener, and Saving Hope. He also had roles in the science fiction series V-Wars and the horror anthology Slasher. Byers has acted in a number of movies, including A Little Bit Zombie, Immortals, and Pompeii, in addition to his television work. He has also provided his voice for a number of video games, including Far Cry 5 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
In 2009, he appeared in CBC’s short drama Wild Roses portrayal as Will McGregor. He was cast in Lifetime’s series Against the Wall in the role of Officer Steve Kowalski, then appeared in Alphas as John Bennett.
