Bethany Hamilton is an American professional surfer and also a writer who is 32 years of age as of the year 2022. She was born on 8th Feb 1990, in Kauai, Hawaii, USA. She is a Hawaiian native. She started surfing when she was at the age of 11. When she was thirteen she became an accomplished surfer and also respected one in the surfing world’s paradise. She also came to national attention when her left arm was bitten by a tiger shark on the 31st of Oct 2003. After making a full recovery she returned to surfing and also has written books that were published by the MTV Books which include, Soul Surfer which has also been a major motion picture.
