Judd Apatow, an American producer-writer, director, actor, and stand-up comedian, and his wife, actress Leslie Mann, welcomed Iris Apatow into the world on October 12, 2002, in Los Banos, California, the US. She is the younger of their two children, and Maude Apatow, her older sister, is a performer in both television and movies. Her mother Leslie is of Irish and German ancestry, while her father Judd Apatow is of Ashkenazi Jewish background. Tamara Apatow, her maternal grandmother, and Maury Apatow, a real estate mogul, are her paternal grandparents.

Career

Iris Apatow made her acting debut at the age of 5 in her father’s 2007 romantic comedy film “Knocked Up,” playing the on-screen daughter of her real-life mother named “Charlotte.” With the same film, her older sister Maude also made her acting debut. Their father runs ‘Apatow Productions,’ a producing company of his own.

Iris returned to the character of Charlotte in the follow-up to her first film, “This Is 40,” in 2012. Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Megan Fox, and her mother were the other actors in this movie.
