Julia and her sisters Lily and Jenny were reared in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, by their renowned actor father Loren Lester, who is best known for portraying Dick Grayson and Robin in the DC Comics movies, and their stage actress mother Kelly. Julia’s sisters are also performers.
While in elementary school, Julia had an interest in acting. Her father encouraged her to practise so that she would one day become well-known. In the comedy “Neckpee Island,” written by Tom Burkhard and Matt Dearborn and starring Cooper Roth, Cade Sutton, and Jacob Bertrand, Julia played the character of Mona.
