American actress Nathalia Norah Ramos Cohen was born on July 3, 1992. She is well-known for playing Yasmin in the 2007 movie Bratz, Jill in the 2013 movie The Damned, and the title character Nina Martin in the first two seasons of the 2011 Nickelodeon television series House of Anubis.

Early Life

Spain’s Madrid is where Ramos was born. Her father is Spanish pop musician Juan Carlos Ramos Vaquero, better known by his stage name “Iván,” and her mother is Australian. She was two when she moved to Melbourne, Australia, and four when she moved to Miami, where she grew up. Ramos went to Miami Beach’s North Beach Elementary, Nautilus Middle School, and Miami Beach Senior High for a short period her freshman year.

After relocating to Los Angeles, she attended and eventually graduated from Beverly Hills High School in addition to the University of Southern California in 2018 with a degree in political science with a focus on South East Asian politics. She and her mother are both Jews. As of June 2, 2016, Ramos was a citizen of the United States. After 13 years of courting, Ramos wed Derek An on December 28, 2021, and she made the first baby’s pregnancy known on January 14, 2022.

Career

Ramos played Yasmin, the title character, in the 2007 theatrical release of Bratz. She briefly appeared in the Bratz movie tie-in music video for Prima J’s song “Rockstar,” which was also included on the album and used her voice in the Bratz 4 Real video game. She played an erratic adolescent supermodel in an episode of the Nickelodeon series True Jackson, VP. Tristan Loraine, a British filmmaker, cast her in the psychological thriller 31 North 62 East.

Ramos played Nina Martin, the main character of the two-season Nickelodeon television series House of Anubis, who moves to England in order to enrol at an enigmatic boarding school. She cited her focus on schooling as the reason she wouldn’t return to House of Anubis for a third season. Ramos was chosen in 2012 to portray Jill, the character’s daughter, in the 2013 horror movie The Damned (formerly named Gallow’s Hill).
