The story line of The Lifetime Christmas Movie The Dog Days of Christmas:-

The story starts with the character Annie Blake an aid worker, who helps needy people and also maintains an organization named Helping Hand to help the people. After a mission in Nepal, she decided to spend her vacation in her hometown. When she reaches her hometown she came to know about the local caretaking Dog shelter was closed and most of the animals were shifted to the veterinary surgery place.

The local veterinary surgery was taken care of by her old friend Dylan. Then Annie with the help of her family and her friends plans to celebrate Christmas specially with the animals over there.
