Thomas Miles was born on May 18, 1967, in Houston, Texas. Thomas Miles studied theatre at Texas A&M University after growing up in Houston, Texas. During his tenure at the university, he actively participated in the drama department and was a member of the fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. He later moved to Dallas, where he began his career in entertainment.

As a stand-up comedian, Thomas has a devoted fanbase and a reputation for captivating audiences. He served as Luther Vandross’ tour’s sole opening act for three years and acted as the sole Mainstage host for the Essence Festival in New Orleans for seven years, from 2009 to 2016. At Detroit’s renowned Motor City Casino in October 2010, Thomas taped his hour-long program.

Actor Thomas continues to perform for sold-out crowds across the nation as part of his national tour. He is a gifted actor who received his training from the Royal Shakespeare Company of London and Texas A&M University. He has appeared in more than a dozen stage productions.
